Huskers would play in new Lincoln arena

Tom Osborne said the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has reached a tentative agreement with city officials on having its basketball teams be tenants if the city builds a new arena.
Osborne said the agreement would be beneficial to both the athletic program and city, as he attended  an arena open house at Memorial Stadium.  Osborne thinks it could all work out.
It would be beneficial to the Huskers on two fronts…the first, Osborne says attendance normally sees a 15% spike in a new arena, and two not only will the Huskers need to build a new practice facility to get up to speed with other programs for recruiting, but a better home court is an added draw for recruits considering NU.
