Report: Heineman may be McCain's ag secretary

If Republican John McCain is elected president, he just might turn to Nebraska for an agriculture secretary.
The Roll Call newspaper, which covers Capitol Hill, is reporting that Governor Dave Heineman is on McCain’s short list to become the second Nebraska governor to lead the U-S Department of Agriculture.
Former Governor Mike Johanns was Ag Secretary under the current President Bush before quitting to run for U-S Senate.
Heineman’s spokeswoman says he remains focused on governing the state.
Another governor is reportedly on the short list — Sonny Perdue of Georgia.
