Survey: NE women are underpaid, overworked

A survey of Nebraska women finds many of them aren’t happy with their jobs. The advocacy group Nebraska Women Work surveyed more than a thousand women statewide who are working or who are looking for work. It found the majority of those who had jobs worked more than 40 hours a week and were dissatisfied with their current pay. Many of the women identified the workplace environment as one thing they disliked about their current employment. Also, a majority said they’ve been the targets of sexual discrimination in the past five years.
