The Lincoln Saltdogs hammered the Saints 14-2 and set a new team record by hitting six home runs in the win.
Shea McFeely hit a two run homer in the second, his sixth homer of the year and his third in as many games. In the third inning, Kit Pellow hit a solo two batters later, Curt Miaso hit a two run shot. Pellow came back in the fourth inning with a three-run shot, and Shawn McGill went deep for his 8th of the year. Albenis Machado set the record with his homer in the 9th.
Starting pitcher Jarrett Gardner moves to 11-6 pitching seven innings. The Saltdogs travel to Wichita for the final series of the 2008 regular season, with the Thursday night game beginning at 7:05. Lincoln will enter play on Thursday one game behind Sioux City in the American Association North.
