An elderly Omaha woman was injured this morning after she fell from a couch to avoid a spray of gunfire outside her home near 38th and Grand Avenue. Around 10:30, police say someone drove by the home and opened fire. They found about 20 shell casings outside the home. The woman will recover from a back injury. A man inside the home was grazed by a bullet to the head but he refused treatment. Police say this area has become a problem spot over the past few months.
