Saltdogs beat St. Paul

The Lincoln Saltdogs beat St. Paul 8-5 at Haymarket Park to stay in second place in the north division of the American Association.
Lincoln scored six runs in the first three innings, with Kit Pellow driving in a first-inning run with an RBI double.  Curt Miaso cracked a two-run home run in the second inning, his fourth homer of the season, and added an RBI single in the third.  Deacon Burns hit a two-run single later in the third to extend the lead to 6-0.
The Saints scored three in the fourth and added another in the fifth before starter Brian Campbell shut them down going six innings to pick up his eighth win.
