After much talk about the possibility of the Cornhuskers landing a 6’11 forward, it now appears that recruit is headed to a Big 12 foe.
Teeng Akol, 6’11, 225 forward from Sudan was reported to have Lincoln on his radar, but now sources our telling the Omaha-World Herald, that Akol will be headed to Oklahoma State after visiting this weekend.
For 2009-10, Nebraska has an oral commitment from 6-9 Vander Joaquim from El Cajon, Calif., and has offered scholarships to Crayton and 6-8 Brandon Ubel from Overland Park, Kan.
