3rd case of West Nile in Nebraska

A person from York County has been diagnosed with West Nile. Three cases have been reported in the state this year. The first was a man from Merrick County in July. The second person was from Douglas County. West Nile is transmitted through the bite of mosquito that it got through an infected bird. Most people experience flu-like symptoms or none at all. There were 14 cases in Nebraska in 2007.
