Nebraska Coaches Association all-star basketball games took place last night at Lincoln Northstar last night. On the girls side, the Blues beat the Reds 91-61. the Boys game. The Reds beat the Blues 97-93.
Cheryl Braithwait (Arapahoe) and Debi Johnson (Perkins County) led the Blues with 12 points. Brittany Gunn of (Omaha Burke) 16 points for the Reds.
It was a little closer game on the boys’ side although it didn’t start out that way. The Reds trailed by as many as 17 early in the 3rd quarter, but but fought thanks to a 21-2 run. Koang Dolouny led the Red with 21 points and 10 rebounds for the Reds.
