Authorities have determined that a three year old boy who died over the weekend in Omaha after falling from moving vehicle was not properly restrained in a safety seat. Little McKenzi Holley died after suffering head injuries from the fall. Chyna Long and her three children were leaving her mother’s home when the accident happened. Authorities say that McKenzi was not in a safety seat and that he had been belted in with a standard seatbelt. Witnesses to the accident say they only saw one car seat in the vehicle. All three children were under six years of age. There are also reports that Chyna Long was ticketed three weeks ago for not properly restraining her children in a vehicle. The investigation continues and the case has been turned over to the county attorney’s office. Funeral services for McKenzi are pending.
