Shreveport reliever Matt Pilgreen had to come into the game in the first inning after a rain delay forced scheduled starter Thad Markray to sit. Pilgreen was lights out holding Lincoln to no runs in seven innings of relief while givng up just two hits.
The Saltdogs left eight runners stranded and only mustered three hits as the Shreveport Sports ended Lincoln’s four game winning streak beating the Dogs 4-1.
