Omaha has a new chief of police and a new fire chief. Mayor Mike Fahey today named 46-year old Eric Buske as the new chief of police and 42-year old Mike McDonnell as the new fire chief. Buske has served as interim police chief since January of this year and McDonnell has been interim fire chief since last December. Their duties will start immediately.
