O-Royals roll in Vegas

The Omaha Royals busted out of their slump beating the Las Vegas 51s 17-5 in their opening game in the Sin City.
Omaha pounded out 20 hits for the game, including four home runs from Jason Smith (19), Ryan Shealy (15), Brian Buchanan (8), and Mike Stodolka (5).  The Royals scored in every inning but the sixth. 
Smith’s home run came  in the first winning with two on, and Shealy added a two run blast in the third as Omaha jumped out to a 9-0 in their first five innings.  Vegas got on the board off starter Brad Salmon who is now 7-4 after giving up three runs on four hits including a home run.
Eight different Royals had multiple hits, and seven with multiple RBIs.  The Royals showed a lot of balance in their offensive attack as Omaha has now won two straight.
