Huskers head football coach Bo Pelini kicked off the Big 12 Football Media Day by taking the podium first. Pelini made it clear he is ready to get down to business.
The players are ready to get started and have been ready to go from the moment Pelini first walked off the plane.
Offensive lineman Matt Slausen talked about how Pelini is so easy to relate to and connected with the players right away.
Defensive end Barry Turner said the same thing when he related the story about how Pelini asked about his daughter when he had set up one on one meetings with each player.
