The Cornhusker State Games kicked off this weekend. Two big highlights so far; 64 year-old Keefe Lodwig of Elkhorn broke the 50 meter fly world record for the 60-65 age group with a time of 29.52. (Lodwig also won gold medals in the 50 meter free, 100 meter free and 50 meter backstroke.)
Eleven year-old Tiani Reeves of Gothenburg took home gold medals in the 100M (13.40), 200M (27.66) and Long Jump (14′ 1 ½”) of the Youth Track & Field Midget Girls division.
