An admission by Governor Dave Heineman when it comes to the State Fair.
“To some extent quite candidly, Lincoln lost a little interest in the State fair, Grand Island wants it! I think it’s important for central and western Nebraska to demonstrate that we can have a State Fair that can be successful in a community other than the two largest communities in this state.
Petitions are being turned in this week by people who want to keep the State Fair in Lincoln.
