New York man sought in Nebraska drug bust

The search continues for a 31 year old Bronx, New York man that ran from a Nebraska State Trooper in Lincoln. State Patrol spokesperson Deb Collins says 31 year old Patrick Golding was stopped for speeding and the trooper thought he might have drugs in his pick-up.
“He fled on foot into a marshy area south of Interstate 80.”
Collins says the man mad a run for it when the trooper called for a drug dog.
“He was barefoot at the time he fled the unit wearing a khaki shorts and a camouflage shirt.”
Collins says they discovered about 187-pounds of marijuana in the bed of the pick up.
“The search of that vehicle led to the discovery of about eight bales of marijuana.”
The active search for Golding was called off after about two hours.
