Phelps wins all five and sets two records

Michael Phelps won his fifth event to cap off a sweep at the U.S. Trials, taking the Men’s 10 butterfly edging out Ian Crocker which was a repeat of the 2004 Olympics when both men took gold and silver respectively.  In the process, Phelps also set two world records during the Trials.
 
In other developments, Margaret Hoelzer set a world record in winning the Women’ 200 Back beating out Elizabeth Beisel.   
 
Dara Torres reclaimed her American record in the Women’s 50 Free seminfinals and Garrett Weber-Gale earned his second gold medal of the meet with an American record winning time of 21.47 in the Men’s 50 Free.  Katie Hoff broke Janet Evans’ 20-year-old U.S. Trials record in the Women’s 800 Free finishing at 8:20.81.
