Saltdogs newbies help beat the Saints

Some new faces in Saltdog uniforms helped lead Lincoln past the St. Paul Saints with a 3-0 win.Newly acquired Matt Maloney, homered and doubled in his Saltdog debut and Lincoln starting pitcher Jarret Gardner allowed six hits in 7.2 innings to get the win.
The Saints threatened in the fourth inning loading the bases, but Gardner got some defensive help by another new Saltdog as Skip Adams made a diving catch.
Lincoln signed Adams and Maloney to free agent contracts along with pitcher Calen Sutton while placing pitcher Ryan Dittfurth on the disabled list.
