O-Royals snap five game losing streak

Ryan Shealy hit a two run homer in the 9th to break a 1-1 tie and Omaha held off a late Round Rock rally as the O-Royals beat the Express 3-2.
Matt Wright (2-4)picked up his second win of the year after going eight innings allowing just one run on six hits and a walk while striking out three.  Brad Salmon picked up his second save after allowing a run to score on a wild pitch.
Edwin Maysonet doubled to lead off the bottom of the 9th and came to third on a ground out.  Maysonet was the hero in Wednesday’s night game hitting a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 10th.  With the game tied at one, the O-Royals got a base hit from Shane Costa to start to ninth and was forced at second on a ground ball by Billy Butler.  That’s when Shealy connected on his two run homer providing the cushion Omaha needed to snap their five game losing streak.
