Natl. Weather Service Says Two Tornados Hit Omaha Sunday

There were two tornados that hit Omaha early Sunday morning.   The National Weather Service confirms that the first EF-1 tornado hit Sarpy County around 2:10 am.  That twister packed winds of up to 110 miles an hour.  It traveled into Douglas County and built intensity to an EF-2 with winds of 135 miles an hour.   At 2:12, The National Weather Service states that a second tornado formed in southwest Douglas County and traveled about 4 miles.  That storm was also an EF-1.  The two tornados joined about 2:25am.
