UNL President Wants To Up Tuition Costs

It is going to cost more to attend UNL.  If President J.B. Milliken has his way, tuition will go up 6-percent for most students for the 2008-2009 school year.  He is making that recommendation to the board of regents who meet next Friday.  It would be the fourth straight year of tuition increases.  If the increase is approved, students will pay between $8.25 to $10.25  more per credit hour.  That would bring tuition costs anywhere from 4-thousand-365-dollars to five-thousand-390-dollars.
