The O-Royals beat the Oklahoma Red Hawks 10-4. Angel Berroa, Damon Hollins, and Chris Lubankski homered. Hollins and Lubanski each drove in three runs.
Billy Butler, just needs to be able to hit major league pitching and shouldn’t be at AAA. Playing first base, Butler went 3 for 5, including a double, triple and 2 RBI. He’s hitting .364 since being sent down, where he was hitting just .265 with the Kansas City Royals with one home run and 11 RBI.
When the O-Royals scored, they did in bunches of three’s. Scoring in the second, fourth, and ninth innings by putting up three spots in each of those frames, plus one more in the seventh, the offense helped seal the deal for Brad Salmon who pitched three scoreless innings in relief to improve to 4-1.
