Chamberlain closing in on starting job with Yanks

The Yankees are getting former Husker and Kearney native Joba Chamberlain ready as a starter.  Last night at Baltimore, he took another step closer.
He pitched an inning and a third in relief throwing 28 pitches and striking out three.  While Mariano Rivera was closing a 4-2 win over Baltimore, Chamberlain went back to the bullpen to throw some more working up to 55 pitches.  The Yankees website is saying Chamberlain could start as early as next week.
