A new program is offering hope for kids in Douglas and Sarpy counties who are headed down the wrong road. “Youth Links” program will provide services to 10 to 18 year olds who are battling alcohol and drug addictions and are experience other problems in life. The ribbon was cut on the new facility Thursday and Governor Dave Heineman attended the ceremony. He said that programs and facilties like this are critical to our future, to communities and for our kids because if we can turn these kids around now, they will be successful adults. The new center is located at 8th and Dorcas in Omaha.
