With all the talk about the State Fair’s move to Grand Island, fair officials don’t want us to forget it’s still in Lincoln for two more years. Spokeswoman Chris Rasmussen tells us that the theme of the upcoming fair in late August will be “experience it”.
The state fair is announcing a lineup of free entertainment that includes country star Miranda Lambert, Styx, and Boyz II Men for the fair starting August 22nd. You only have to pay to get in the gate. A season pass is also going on sale. You can visit the fair all 11 days for under 50 dollars if you buy your pass soon. The State Fair moves to Grand Island in 2010.
