A 36-year old Omaha martial arts studio owner says he was young when he got in trouble with the law, but that doesn’t mean he won’t make a good state senator. Christopher Geary is running for the Senate seat current held by Gail Kopplin of Gretna. Geary had warrants and a reported bankruptcy, but he says all those have been settled. He says he was in his 20s when he made some mistakes, but he tells the Omaha World-Herald that he is much older and wiser now.
