O-Royals use long ball to beat Birds

The O-Royals salvaged a split in Memphis on their first road trip of the season beating the Redbirds 4-1 last night. Ryan Shealy, who was one of the last cuts with the KC Royals, hit his fourth home run of the season and Angel Berroa connected for his second to helped starting pitcher Jorge De La Rosa pick up his first win of the year. While Shealy has homered four times, he has struggled at the plate hitting only .190.  De La Rosa went five innings giving up one run in five innings.  Neal Musser pitched the 8th and 9th for his second save.
It’s onto Nashville for four games with the Sound.
